Unbelievable it may seem, but both the father and uncle of a young girl have been arrested for raping her for years.
According to reports, the father of the girl, Mr Segun Durojaiye, a teacher at the Ijagba Community High School, Sotubo, Sagamu had been raping the girl since she was 13 years old.
The girl who is currently 16 years old, lost her mother when she was an infant and had grown up with her father and her step-mother. However, after her step-mother also died, the girl’s father turned her into his sex slave.
The young girl further said her uncle, Mr. Emmanuel Durojaiye also raped her when she visited his home.
According to her, she had aborted two pregnancies for her father and one for her uncle.
Unable to cope with the sustained sexual molestation, the girl reported her father and uncle to her half-sister, who in turn told their grandmother.
Residents of the area the victim lived in, also heard about it and reported the matter to the police.
Both Mr. Segun and Emmanuel Durojaiye have subsequently been arraigned and charged before a Yaba Chief Magistrate’s Court on Monday on eight counts bordering on assault, rape and abortion.
