The sum of $43 Million recovered by EFCC in an empty house in Ikoyi, has topped the news for today in Nigeria.

The recovery of the $43 Million by the EFCC, is attributed to a whistle-blower who alerted the authorities that such a huge sum of money was stashed away in the house.

Overall, the EFCC is said to have recovered the sums of $43 Million,  £27,000 and N23 Million neatly packed in metal safes from the empty building.

As expected the discovery has generated indignation among Nigerians, especially given the particularly trying times the nation is going through.

Who owns the money though? That’s a question that is still yet to be clearly answered.
